House Policies

Regal Dogs Resort reserves the right to immediately change your dog's type of boarding/daycare should we believe it is necessary to protect the health and well being of your dog, other dogs, or personnel.

All dogs must have an identification tag, with either a telephone number or address of the owner. We recommend that the tag(s) include the dog's name as well. All dogs must be on a leash when entering or leaving our building.

There is also a $4.00 per day charge when feeding your dog with "house food" (House Food is Solid Gold Hunden Flocken). However, we do recommend that you send along your own food, since changing a dog's food can cause a severe upset stomach and quite possibly diarrhea.

A credit card number is required to secure your boarding reservation. Failure to cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before check in date, or failure to show up for a reservation, will result in a charge of ONE NIGHT of BOARDING. Please make your reservation as far in advance as possible. Holidays book up months in advance and weekends fill up weeks in advance as well. Daycare usually books up about a week in advance. So please...PLAN AHEAD!

Dog's owner understands the risks involved with communal boarding of dogs. Our boarding, daycare and grooming dogs play in the yards and inside with other dogs. Although we will offer reasonable care, the unpredictable personality of dogs can sometimes lead or result to injury.

Dog's owner understands that Regal Dogs Resort liability, of any circumstances related to the dog, will not exceed the current chattel value of a dog of the same breed as the one in our care.

Upon a dog's departure, a daycare charge is added only when the dog's checkout time is more than four hours AFTER it's check-in time. EXAMPLE: A dog that checks in on a Monday at 8:00 a.m. and checks out Tuesday at 5:00 p.m., would be charged for ONE night of boarding AND one day of daycare. If the same dog checked out at 10:00 a.m., then they would only be charged for the ONE night of boarding. Please feel free to refer any questions to our front desk personnel or examine our rates online at our website.

We are happy to give medication to your dog at no extra charge. However, all medication must come in a clearly marked container (preferably the original container), with the following information directly on the container: Dog's name and name of medication and strength. Dosage per day or if needed. (Please let us know what doses have already been administered that day.)

Dogs are not allowed to leave Regal Dogs Resort in the back of a pick-up truck unless in a securely tied-down crate.
