We are located in the beautiful Northumberland Hills. Breathtaking views encompass our resort all around.
Family owned and operated, RDR is on just under 70 gorgeous acres.
Fields- for those who would enjoy full out runs, cedar groves- for those who would love treks through the woods,
| |
and a beautiful, crystal clear, running
creek for anyone with a yen for a summertime dip.
What more could your "best friend" ask for?!

For those on a bit of a slower pace, we have fully
fenced in yards, adjoining to our guesthouse, where
your old gal can just simply wander about sniffing,
or even plain old fashioned basking in the sun, enjoying
the sights and sounds of the surrounding countryside.
For sure, it's a dog's life!!

Who We Are
|
Founded in 2001 and originally known as the Aussie Dog Patch, we have now expanded and changed our Kennel name (although many of us are not
fond of the "K" word) to Regal Dogs Resort. Initially overnight
boarding and daycare was provided within the intimacy and privacy of my family home.
But as things progressed, the need to expand was felt. Therefore the custom building of a top notch, solar
powered, luxury doggie hotel, complete with loft, had become a necessity, that was strictly and completely
devoted to our canine guests. None are more excited than our canine friends and guests!
Well, maybe we are... just a little!

Honorable Mention
|
Many thanks to everyone involved in the re-creation of the Aussie Dog Patch (now known as
Regal Dogs Resort). My husband Paul, whose brain I incessantly picked; my 3 children who
heard about nothing else for, oh so long...; my angel investor (who prefers to remain anonymous,
but whose generosity and kindness has no bounds); and many, many others, too many to list
really.
Muchly appreciated. S.
